Description:

Sapa is a small mountain town in Lao Cai Province, located 350 km northwest of Hanoi, close to the Chinese border. Here, you’ll find the Hoang Lien Son range of mountains, including Mount Fansipan - the country’s highest peak and therefore nicknamed ‘The Roof of Indochina’.

2 days trek will provide you an opportunity to discover the Mount Fansipan beauty and your body condition.

Itinerary:
Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai

20:00 - The Chapatravel staff will pick up you from your hotel in the Old Quarter streets and transfer to the Hanoi train station for boarding at 10:00 pm. You will be in shared AC soft sleeper cabins of 4 people to travel to Lao Cai city. The Chapa Express train staff will help you to check in the right cabin on the train.
22:00 - Train departs. Sleeping on train

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa town to camp at 2,800m (B,L,D)

6:10 - Arriving in Lao Cai train station. You will be picked up by our staff who holding a sign with your name and our logo clearly marked then take a walk to Chapa Lounge Restaurant.
You can store the luggages, take a shower and have breakfast here. Then you will be transferred to Sapa town for trekking.
8:30 - Reach to Sapa and be ready for trek.
Your trip will start at 09:00 when you’ll meet your guide and be transferred just 15km to the starting point of your trek.
Starting from the Park Rangers’ Station (2000m) you’ll begin the ascending hike; along the route observing the local bird life and learning about the local cardamom plants.
You’ll stop for a break at 2200m of altitude. Enjoy a picnic lunch and recharge before continuing along a route of magnificent views to your camping spot for the night.
Tonight, you’ll camp in a tin mountain hut along the route (2800m); get settled and enjoy dinner cooked on the campfire. Get to know your fellow hikers before retiring for a good night’s rest nestled amongst the rugged landscape.

Day 2: Summit Mount Fansipan – Sapa – Lao Cai (B, L, D)
You’ll rise early this morning for the final ascent to the very top of Mt. Fansipan (3143m). You’ll leave camp at around 06:30 and arrive at the highest point of the Indochinese Peninsula by 10:30 (If you want to see the sunrise, you can ask your guide to start ealier).
Take some time to absorb the achievement of reaching ‘The Roof of Indochina’ and your surroundings; the thick green forestry landscape and the aerial view of Sapa town.
You’ll then commence your trek back down to Tram Ton Pass (2000m), stopping for lunch along the way. When you arrive at the pass, your driver will be waiting to take you back to Sapa Town to mark the end of a remarkable journey with a complimentary soothing herbal medicine bath or foot massage.
17:00 - The car will transfer you from Sapa town to Chapa Lounge Restaurant where you can take a shower, reback your luggage, have dinner and wait for the train’s departure time.

Night 3: Lao Cai - Hanoi
21:40 - Getting on train toward to Hanoi. The tour ends!
